Founder and CEO
Eric Rutter launched Worldwide Solutions & Services (now Mavsotech) in late 2022 to help companies augment solutions and services and rebalance resources as they continue to harden their value chains coming off the delivery challenges witnessed during Covid. Eric saw an opportunity to augment resources and help companies deliver hardware development and support services in the Video and Broadband Service Providers, Automotive Audio System Providers, Ad Insertion Technologies and Entertainment Devices industries.
He previously served as President of the Connected Home Americas at Technicolor where he managed the Regional P/L of over $1.5B and grew the territory by close to 50% during his leadership. He was also an active member of Technicolor’s Management Committee. He joined Technicolor in April 2016 as SVP Sales & Client Director for the Charter Communications account team with responsibility for customer premise equipment (CPE) sales, including Set-Top Boxes (STB), Gateways, Cable Modems, Routers, Cable Cards, Software Platforms, and Services and was their top salesperson during his first two years in the role.
Prior to joining Technicolor, he was VP of Sales at Rovi where he managed the worldwide commercial interactive program guide business, Hollywood Studio relationships for Copy Protection and was responsible for renewing the Tier One Intellectual Property Licensing agreements with North America's largest Video and Broadband Service Providers.
He graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. in Economics and also attended Executive Education Programs at Harvard Business School and the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School. He lives in Haddonfield, New Jersey with his wife and kids.
Head of Sales & Business Development
Jim Potts brings over 40 years of sales leadership experience to Mavsotech. Most recently, he served as SVP of Sales at Vantiva (formerly Technicolor), where he led a high-performing, customer-focused team that built strong relationships with network service providers across the US and Canada. His prior experience includes key sales roles at Cisco and Scientific-Atlanta. Earlier in his career, Jim held leadership and management positions at Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet. Throughout his career, Jim has consistently been recognized for his performance and collaborative business approach. He currently resides in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
Head of Customer Solutions
Jeff Berenson is experienced in leading global organizations define, develop, and deploy next generation technologies in telecommunications, television, and broadband markets. He had led professional service, engineering, and product management organizations at ITVP Partners, Active Video, Rovi Corporation (a TiVo company), Vidiom Systems (an ADB company), and Open TV.
Adept at the market introduction of new hardware and software technologies that embrace embedded, mobile, enterprise, and cloud-based solutions, Jeff has extensive experience integrating new hardware and software components to existing environments. He has experience leading teams to perform acquisition target due diligence, merger aggregation process and technology planning, and integration execution on technology providers and Tier 1 network operators.
Jeff is an accomplished industry evangelist and speaker at international and domestic conferences, academic institutions, webinars, and trade shows on industry and technology topics.

Eric Hybertson is a seasoned Cable technology expert, specializing in video and broadband delivery systems. Eric delivers clear, concise guidance with a long history of providing value across diverse markets. With a 25+ year career in deploying legacy and modern broadband devices, access networks, and end-user ecosystems, Eric enables any business to look around operational corners toward straightforward success. As an entrepreneur, Eric also guides partners to capitalize on new opportunities that open up through market changes.
Head of Customer Satisfaction
John Bell is an experienced Customer Success and Technical Account Management professional with a strategic focus on helping global television and broadband providers drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention while improving operations. He has led account management teams at Rovi, TiVo, Agile TV, TV Gateway, and HBO.
John has extensive experience supporting hardware and software deployment and upgrades, development and management of problem-solving custom solutions, managing professional services, project management, and issue escalation and resolution.
With a track record of establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships that enhance revenue growth and improve ongoing operations, John utilizes a combination of technical knowledge, problem-solving ability and excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to drive projects to successful, on-time conclusions and to ensure that objectives are exceeded.
John earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Business from The University of Texas at Austin.
GM Automotive Audio
Joanna Skrdlant brings 35 years of experience in licensing and partnership development across audio, consumer electronics, and semiconductors. She has led in embedded audio and voice technologies, managing partner ecosystems, and overseeing licensing and certification in various markets, including Consumer Electronics and Automotive. Her roles have spanned from Vice President and General Manager at Xperi Inc., where she managed DTS' Home Entertainment unit, to spearheading audio IP implementation and licensing at SRS Labs before its acquisition by DTS.
At Xperi Inc., Joanna managed complex audio solutions like DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced, significantly contributing to the Home Entertainment business yearly revenue. Her expertise extends to implementing audio IP and licensing across multiple platforms, from TVs and game consoles to mobile phones and portable media players, demonstrating her ability to drive innovation and partnerships in the evolving audio technology landscape.
Head of Engineering
Jack Birnbaum is a seasoned technology and product leader who holds several patents. He was VP of Video Infrastructure and Security Engineering at Comcast where he led teams of hardware, software, systems and test engineers in the development of video products including set top boxes, Video on Demand solutions, interactive TV applications, as well as control and content security solutions.
Jack created and led a customer experience focused initiative at Comcast tasking engineers to own and resolve customer impacting problems. From that experience he led the development of a data driven solution to monitor and proactively repair customer impacting problems, leading to improved customer satisfaction and reduced operating costs. Before Comcast, Jack led the development of advanced set-top software at Motorola and Video on Demand solutions at Concurrent.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and an MBA from Temple University. He is also a graduate of the SCTE Tuck Executive Leadership program from Dartmouth. He is a Board of Trustees member at Valley Forge Educational Services and serves on the Advisory Board for The College of New Jersey Electrical and Computer Engineering department.
Head of Finance & Administration
As Head of Finance and Administration, Sheryl is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions. Her career spans more than 30 years of varied experience in financial management and business leadership. Prior to joining Mavsotech, Sheryl served as CFO for Renegade Communications, an advertising services company, where she was responsible for finance, HR, IT and operations. Before that, she was VP, Finance for Xperi Corp, Tivo Corp and Rovi Corp where she was responsible for financial management of a variety of groups including Intellectual Property, total company revenue, and various product groups. She started her career in public accounting.
Sheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Oklahoma State University.

Ted Hodgins is recognized for his expertise in business process improvements, customer experience, marketing, operations, and product management. His career spans over 35 years, innovating in the television and video industries, with notable roles including initiating and leading a root cause analysis team at Comcast nationwide, which significantly improved customer experiences, NPS scores, and operational efficiencies.
His approach integrates comprehensive analysis with strategic execution, focusing on enhancing customer interactions and operational practices. Hodgins has a track record of developing and implementing effective business solutions, balancing customer needs with operational capabilities.
Recently, Ted worked as a Strategy Consultant at SES, managing the 5G C-Band Filter Project, and volunteered as an Emergency Management Specialist in Philadelphia, demonstrating his commitment to community service and project leadership.
Service Provider Engineering
Steve DiDomenico is a seasoned technology leader experienced in both development and operations. He was Senior Director of Core Video Systems at Comcast where he led teams of software, systems, test and operations engineers in the development and support of video products.
Before Comcast, Steve worked in the digital video space at Motorola and was Motorola's video standards representative including work in OpenCable, SCTE and ATSC.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, a Masters in Computer Science from Villanova University, and an MBA from Drexel University.
Audio Product Solutions
Tim Sandrik has a distinguished 25-year career in audio and acoustics, deeply rooted in hi-fi and professional audio, and extending into automotive and consumer sectors, where he collaborated with industry leaders like DCM, Klipsch, Harman, Knowles, Apple, and Dolby. His expertise lies in Audio System Architecture, Design, Evaluation, and Tuning. He specializes in creating integrated audio systems for environments that are typically highly constrained, such as AR/VR, PCs, TVs, and sound-bars. His approach to audio system development and optimization is driven by customer and market values, focusing on establishing relevant targets and constraints for performance, cost, and size. Notably, Sandrik recently started construction of a 3000 square foot audio lab, with large anechoic chamber that will support research and development of consumer, automotive, and professional audio systems.
